According to the NRA around 50% of US households have at least one gun (thats about 55 million households), that is a lot of guns. Now I don’t know what the figure is for how many pistol safes sold actually is, but I would guess that it is nowhere that figure, the question to ask is, why not?

If you own a firearm (and it is your right to do so) then you also have a responsibility to the safe storage of that firearm when it is not in use.
